The Engagement Story...2 months late

So Aaron and I are getting married in 12 days now!!!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand myself and Aaron just keeps saying he can't wait to go to Palm Springs (honeymoon). I've never been to Palm Springs but I've heard such good things about it and Aaron's planning lots of fun stuff for us, so I can't WAIT!

I mentioned a few posts ago that I would tell our engagement story and I had some extra time so I figured I'd just tell it real quick. This is definitely leaving out every detail, and it's kinda fun to tell the whole story, but here's the abridged version...

Aaron picked me up from my house at 6:00 PM on Monday, March 24th. We had planned earlier that day to make dinner together at his apartment, go to his FHE, and go grocery shopping at Target. So we walk into his apartment and I start to go into the kitchen to start making dinner but he stops me and gets down on one knee, and after saying tons of super sweet things to me and me interrupting him every 10 seconds to smooch him, he asks me to marry him! All I wanted to do was just kiss him and kiss him and kiss him and so I did that...and then told him yes!

We had a little moment of hugging and kissing and being excited that we were [FINALLY] engaged and then he tells me our REAL plans for the night...First was that he made dinner reservations at Chef's Table! So we got all dressed up and went out to dinner and then came back and changed and
went bowling at Fat Cats (last summer the first time we were alone together was walking home from Fat Cats after we went bowling with some friends). After bowling, he took me to this park in Orem (where we touched for the first time last summer when we went there with our friends to tell secrets. ha).

That's definitely leaving out all the good stuff but it was such a great night and Aaron is the best future husband EVER! I LOVE AARON JOHNSON and I can't wait to marry him!!!

  1. haha, I don't think I'll every get sick of hearing that story. My favorite part is when you add how much you wanted to kiss him.

I can't wait until your WEDDING!!!

  2. It's nice to know that my future sister-in-law is soo in love with my baby brother. :-) It's also nice to hear all the fun stories of your dates and the engagement story. Now I know who to go to when I need to know what's going on in Aaron's life.
