Honeymooning in Palm Springs

So as of last Wednesday, Aaron and I are MARRIED!!!!! It was suuuuuuch a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful day and everything was just so PERFECT! I still can't get over how wonderful the whole day was! For everyone who was there at the temple and/or the reception...thank you for coming and I hope you enjoyed yourself!

The morning after our wedding day (last Thursday) Aaron and I woke up early to catch a flight down to California for our Honeymoon in PALM SPRINGS!!!! And if I wasn't happy enough about how the wedding day went, I was even HAPPIER about how fun and perfect the honeymoon was!!!! We stayed in a villa at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort and it was just so much fun!

I won't go into detail about what we did each day but here are some highlights:
  • Eating dinner on Thursday night at Copeley's (super nice, beautiful restaurant where we both had the best food we've ever eaten!)
  • Going to the pool everyday in the 115 degree weather
  • Cooking dinner together in our villa on Friday night (steak, baked beans, corn on the cob, and sourdough bread!!!)
  • Shopping at the Outlets all day Saturday and then going to Ruby's Diner for a surprisingly really good dinner
  • Going to church on Sunday!

Anyways, I couldn't have imagined a better honeymoon (except for a longer one...). We got to Palm Springs on Thursday and were back in Provo by Sunday night so that we could start school on Monday. Now we are just settling into our apartment and getting back into the swing of things with school and work.

I don't have the pictures from the temple or reception yet, but here are some pictures from the honeymoon...

Our first night we went to Copeley's for dinner.
We got to get a little dressed up and the food was seriously
soooooo so so so good (best apple pie I've ever had!)

Outside the restaurant--not only was the food good
but it was definitely the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to.

Aaron and I trying a new pose. ha

Our super cute rental car! We didn't really like it at first
but it was really good to us and we were sad
to turn it back in (we only had to fill up with gas ONCE!)

Aaron's from California (AND a former In-N-Out employee)
so of course we had to go here while we were down there...
I used to think it was overrated but In-N-Out really does have
goooood good burgers. Anyways, that was lunch on Saturday.

After a long day of shopping on Saturday we went to
Ruby's Diner for dinner. We wanted to get a picture of us with the sign
in the background and after like 15 tries we finally got this one. :) Cute, huh?

This is us right before leaving for church. I love this picture
of Aaron...I don't think I've ever seen him look so happy!
Doesn't he have such a beautiful smile!?

I love Palm Springs and I kinda miss the 115 degree weather... Just kidding but we can't wait to go back!
