Slumber Party Weekend

This weekend was definitely not one of our most productive weekends (referring to studio time/homework), but that's ok because it was definitely a memorable one! Friday night Aaron and I made tin-foil dinners (in the oven) and they were soooooooo so good! So good that we made them again on Sunday when my sister Staci came over for dinner (see picture above). After dinner on Friday we went out looking for dessert and ended up at Macey's....? Good thing though because Macey's was really good to us...they had donut samples, free candy, and 69-cent ice cream cones!!!!!!!

After dessert we came home and brought our mattress out into our living room, got all set up for our slumber party, and watched the Count of Monte Christo (good movie!). I don't know if we were just lazy or what, but we left the mattress in the living room all day Saturday, and the slumber party just ended up lasting all weekend! I haven't told Aaron this yet, but I'm considering making every weekend a slumber party.

Anyways, not your average Halloween, but we really enjoyed it! I think I got sick of dressing up 2 years ago, I don't like haunted houses/scary movies, and I'm not a huge fan of candy either. So what's a girl to do besides cuddle with her hubby and watch a good movie?!

  1. This sounds like such a fun weekend. I have to try the tin foil dinners soon. :) I want to copy your sleepover, but I'm pretty sure our mattress won't fit in our living room! Ha - gotta love tiny apartments! :)

  3. That is so awesome! I want to have a slumber party...maybe once my art is all out of my living room, we will have room to put some blankets/mattresses out there for a little slumber party!

Yes, my show is going up at Maestro's this weekend...we're going on the Provo Gallery walk with my mother in law, sister, and grandparents. We should meet up if you guys are going!
