gorgonzola cheese....

...where have you been all my life?!
Tonight I made the most delicious. salad. EVER. And it wouldn't have been so delicious without some gorgonzola (...and the glazed pecans...obviously). Here is the recipe:

glazed pecans
gorgonzola cheese
blackened chicken
creamy balsamic vinaigrette

This is a salad that I discovered at Tonyburgers (located in Centerville, UT) and tonight I tried to duplicate it. It wasn't exactly the same, but almost. When I eat this salad I eat all the spinach first, and leave all the "toppings" to eat last. SO STINKIN GOOD!

Speaking of food... can't wait for tomorrow :)

  1. that sounds like what i make all the time...combination of the waldorf from cpk and one from the nordstrom cafe. do you buy glazed pecans? or make them? and did you make the dressing?

  2. I was totally into Gorgonzola cheese for a while after I had this amazing Salad at deep creek with that cheese and blueberry pomegranate dressing... tasty!
