family's first EARTHQUAKE

Welp, it finally happened--the Lewis family made the trek out to CALIFORNIA!!!! It started out with just my parents and 2 youngest siblings making plans to come out to visit for their spring break, and somehow turned into a mini-family reunion when my sister Staci (Provo, UT), sister Jenna (Great Falls, VA) and brother Patrick and family (Tucson, AZ) also made plans to come out to visit! The only ones missing were my two oldest brothers--Quinn (Houston, TX) and Micah (Seattle, WA) and their families. So 6 out of the 8 Lewis kids were in attendance--not bad!

Aside from the sometimes cloudy/rainy/cold weather, we had SO MUCH FUN! We went to Disneyland, celebrated my little sister's 13th birthday, ate some good meals, went to the beach, etc. etc. etc..... but the coolest part of everyone's trip was the EARTHQUAKE we felt on Sunday afternoon! It was a first for all of us (besides Aaron--born and raised here in California) and we kind of loved every second. Thank goodness it didn't cause any real damage and of course I'm hoping and praying we never actually have a real one, but you have to admit.....pretty cool that it happened while everyone was out here. :)

Anyways, I took tons of pictures--way too many for just one post. But here's a couple of our first day....

We went to South Coast Plaza and had lunch at Boudin. Apparently my dad and 17-year old brother Ethan thought there were more important things in life than shopping....
