farmers market.

I do 99% of my grocery shopping at Sprouts or Henry's [or Whole Foods if I'm feeling really crazy....so almost never...], but this week I decided I'd walk a few blocks to the local farmers market [open every Wednesday morning] to see what kind of goodies they had. I took Mr. Pentax with me just in case there was anything film-worthy, and turns out we were both pleasantly surprised [see photos!].

I don't even know how much money I spent or how long I was there.....all I know is that I was having the time of my life and I had to get myself out of there quick before I started buying things like brown eggs for $6/dozen or goat cheese by the pound....? But at least I lucked out with some crazy delicious pink lady apples [my fave], a giant avocado, and the best cherries I've ever tasted, to name a few....

P.S. Hopefully you all have seen the movie/documentary Food, Inc., because if you haven't then you definitely need to ASAP! I promise you will learn so much and be really glad you watched it. We also found No Impact Man pretty amusing/entertaining [both available for instant play on netflix!]. :)
