my week in review.

thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! i've secretly been celebrating my birthday all week, but we finished my birthday dessert last night [pumpkin cobbler] so now i feel like i need to sit back and reminisce about my first few days of being a 25 year how my birthday decorations stayed up for an extra day this year, or how i wore a tiny braid in my hair yesterday, or how my mint green nail polish is still going [pretty] strong after 7+ days, or how the skirt i'm wearing today has tiny umbrellas all over it!? obviously other things have also been going on around here in the past couple days, but it's the simple things that make life so beautiful and this week has definitely been a good one.

hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! <3

  1. Happy belated birthday, Whit! Hope you had an awesome day. :)

  8. the pumpkin cobbler/dump cake recipe is found here...
the picture looks a little gross, but i promise it is delicious! :)

and i used revlon nail polish, but i think it's actually the rimmel "base coat and top coat pro" that i use that helps it stay longer :)

  9. you're so pretty!! love these images. happy belated birthday! :)

  10. I hope you've STILL got those newly 25 good feelings going! Your teensy braid is so adorable!! I would love to learn how to do those side-braids... every time I've tried, I end up taking them out - I guess I need more practice to look presentable!
