the beehive bun.

my new favorite hairstyle for hot summer days. i've tried doing ballerina buns in the past and never liked how it looked since my hair is not thick and/or long enough, but turns out anything is possible with a little [lot of] backcombing and hairspray.

there is a beautiful breeze outside today and the weather couldn't be any more perfect. hoping to eat dinner outside on our patio tonight to start soaking up these summer nights. <3

  6. haha brittany of course not! this is just my tiny-bit-more-polished version of the "messy bun" that i usually do, and you're just lucky you have such thick beautiful hair to be able to do this without any backcombing! there's a good chance i would go bald if i did this every day :)

  8. You look so cute!! Love this hairstyle. That's usually what I do for work, because I'm too lazy to spend the time to do my hair at 6 in the morning. Thanks for your comment on my blog...it was so sweet of you! You have an adorable blog, love it! :)

  12. This is the only way I can bear to do my hair in the super-humid NYC heat. :) I'm thinking I need a haircut, and soon.
