inventory.

I went to the farmers market this morning with my friend and her sweet little baby girl, and was so excited when I got home to unpack my bags and take inventory of all the goods. I didn't have time to go to the farmers market last week, and I can't even begin to describe how wonderful it is to finally have some real [farm fresh] produce again. Everything just tastes soooo much better.

Unfortunately I don't think this food will even last us through the weekend [especially those grapes!].....they really should have shopping carts available at farmers markets, don't you think? :)

**I hope no one minds that most of my blogging lately has been about food.
My next post will be about something different, I promise. <3

  6. Delicious! We used to go to a farmers market on the weekends not far from our old house. I always thought I needed to get one of those shopping bags on wheels, you know the ones that little old ladies use, that look a bit like a golf bag? It would be so handy for bringing home market bounty!

  7. mm, kale! A lot of ppl at my farmers market bring these rolly carts behind them so they can stuff it full of stuff. Cuz it really does get to be a hassle carrying all those bags, I agree.

  23. Farmer's Market visits are some of my favorite days. I have so many fond memories of going to the farmers market with my whole family and spending the day there, tasting foods and picking out fresh produce. The almond and brown sugar nuts stand out especially, and I can still remember grabbing the piping hot cone in my hands and smiling gratefully at the seller. And please don't worry about the food posts...I'm absolutely loving them! Lovely photo! (ps. resh produce doesn't last long here either. ;)
