weekends.

my favorite weekends are the ones when nothing too spectacular happens, but when you get to do all the simple things you enjoy the most with the people you love the most. such was the case for us this weekend. and just because i love making lists, here are my favorite parts from the past few days....

ONE. having mexican food for three dinners in a row. [feeling like a true californian!]
TWO. wishing my sweet mother a happy birthday yesterday.
THREE. listening to these wonderful messages.
FOUR. spending time with my husband's sisters & families last night--working hard and giving out awards, apparently. nieces and nephews are the best. [see photos]
FIVE. having way too much fun with our new app heytell, because who can resist using their phone like a walkie-talkie?? i mean, seriously! :)

feeling so ready for the new week. happy monday! <3

  4. ha! I did the same thing. Poquito mas twice followed by Sol y Luna ... and leftovers the next day. yeah, that's 4 days in a row. The mexican food never gets old.
