afternoon at the beach & holiday plans.

my most favorite time to go to the beach is during the fall and winter months, when there is barely anyone else there and all you can do is cuddle up on a blanket to keep warm with your favorite person in the world. the fog/clouds just made it all the more cozy while we read and listened to some of these with the sound of the ocean in the background. it's times like this that make me want to never ever leave this place.

**last night we finally finalized our holiday travel plans! we've been procrastinating long enough, but after about 3 hours of coordinating and figuring out the least expensive way possible, we finally made a decision and the plane tickets are officially booked. i haven't been home to Ohio to celebrate Christmas since 2008, so i am very excited! let the countdown begin!

i totally am in such with you. i adore the beach when it's empty, a little wild, magical.

we have a bay here, so no long sweeps of sand. but dramatic.
