good things come to those who wait.

secretly i have been looking for a vintage blouse with a peter pan collar for the past several months, and just as i was losing all hope in peter pan collars and thrift stores in general, i actually found one last week that far exceeded my expectations....peter pan collar, a ruffle, a little fabric rose, no stains, and a perfect fit! kind of reminds me of my tender mercy back in february. :)

phrases like "good things come to those who wait" and "all things shall work together for your good" have come to my mind several times this past week, and as silly as it may sound, finding this blouse after all these months of searching for it brought some kind of reassurance. so now i'm just praying that those phrases can someday prove themselves true in areas of my life other than vintage blouses. i sure hope so!

**giveaway will be remain open until wednesday, so don't forget to enter if you'd like a chance to win a jar of honey! :)

  5. What a GORGEOUS blouse! I love every single thing about it - the color, the collar, the sleeves, the shoulders. It's so beautiful. And I so know what you mean - I try my hardest not to settle and wait until the real thing comes along ;) And in this instant gratification age that we live in, I think waiting is a real lost art!
