the honey scoop.

meet the most recent addition to our little family....the honey scoop! also known as an ice cream scoop, just re-purposed so that my job of scooping out the now-crystallized honey from our 48-pound bucket is a little easier. it works much better than a regular spoon, even though my arm was pretty beat after refilling just 3 jars. :)

speaking of honey!....i feel honored to have been included in Jane Reaction's Need, Read, Greed column! she is one of my new favorite blogs, and i had so much fun putting together my picks--things that i need, [want to] read, and greed. below is a little preview, and you can click HERE to see the real post and get the links, and also spend some time perusing jane's beautiful blog!

  13. Cute! I love that swimsuit, and I love honey of course. My dad's bees aren't doing so well this year. It's been a hard winter for them. Poor little fellas.
