orange crush.

Thank you so so much for all the birthday wishes, everyone! It's been a wonderful week so far. I drove down to San Diego yesterday to visit my husband Aaron who is there for work this week, and drove back this morning. I was only gone for one night, but I came back feeling somehow both so refreshed, and soo glad to be home again. (haha) I've always been such a homebody, it's the weirdest thing.

Also, this has been a long time coming, but I have developed a massive crush on the color orange. My eye is so drawn to it these days, I just cannot get enough. This song, too (thanks to pandora on my drive home this morning). Happy Wednesday! <3

  3. I love orange too because it always reminds me of my MIL. It is by far her favorite color and she always gravitates towards it. Has for years. Maybe this is the beginning of a long love affair with orange.

  4. I really believe that the best part of traveling or going anywhere, really, is the feeling you get when coming home.

  32. I know what you mean when it comes to being glad and happy at home. I moved from my parents to my (then boyfiend) now husband (wow, writting it down for the first time now after 5 days of marriage)a year ago, and I love every moment of being at (our) home, even if I am alone. Home gives me such soothing comfort and its a place of relaxation and peace. and I get to doo all the wonderful stuff I can`t do at work, so another plus :) yay!

As for the color orange... in some objects/places etc. I like the look of it, but usually its a bit too strong for me... although these tulips look adorable. Maybe because they are a bit soothed with greens and whites around them....
