texas forever.

dear whoever-invented-family-reunions,

THANK YOU!!

yours truly,
whitney

**above are just a few of the photos i took last week. (i wasn't kidding when i said i took over a thousand!) i thought i was close to getting over my post-vacation blues, but after looking through & editing all these photos today i think i'm back at square one! my family is very spread out (texas, arizona, california, washington, virginia, ohio), so it's not very often that we are all together. my younger brother was the only one (out of 29) not in attendance, but he is currently serving a 2-year mission for our church so i guess he has a good excuse. :) i wish every week was family reunion week, but until then....i will always have the fondest memories of our time together in texas.

  3. Post vacation blues are hard!!

It seems like the little girl in the pink and white stripes in the fifth set of pictures down looks a LOT like your younger sister?! (Who I'm guessing is her aunt?) So cute. Coop looks a lot like my younger brother and I just think it's cool. Totally random.

  21. I REALLY miss Blue Bell ice cream from Texas. It makes me so sad that they only sell it in a few states! They're butter pecan, as I'm sure you know, is to. die. for. xoxo

  22. Great photos! I just discovered they sell blue bell in AZ! Its definitely THE BEST ice-cream. How/what do you do to get your pictures side-by-side with just that tiny sliver of space between them?

    ReplyDelete

    1. their ice cream really is SO good. we asked if they would ever bring it out to california, but it didn't sound too promising... :)

for the side-by-side photos i just create a new document in photoshop and place them next to each other (with a little white space in between). maybe there's an easier way?
