texas forever.

**above are just a few of the photos i took last week. (i wasn't kidding when i said i took over a thousand!) i thought i was close to getting over my post-vacation blues, but after looking through & editing all these photos today i think i'm back at square one! my family is very spread out (texas, arizona, california, washington, virginia, ohio), so it's not very often that we are all together. my younger brother was the only one (out of 29) not in attendance, but he is currently serving a 2-year mission for our church so i guess he has a good excuse. :) i wish every week was family reunion week, but until then....i will always have the fondest memories of our time together in texas.

  3. Post vacation blues are hard!!

    It seems like the little girl in the pink and white stripes in the fifth set of pictures down looks a LOT like your younger sister?! (Who I'm guessing is her aunt?) So cute. Coop looks a lot like my younger brother and I just think it's cool. Totally random.

  9. I love family reunions and get togethers! It's so nice to be able to see old family members again and just have fun. It looks like you guys had a really good time.

    Which beach were you at in Texas?

    1. i use the new version of blogger that lets you take out the breaks between photos. there were so many photos in this post i figured i'd try to save some space! :)

    1. haha thanks jessica! you are seriously the best, we miss you guys so much. especially aaron who wishes someone around here would be more like sophie and call him "handsome boy" every once in a while. haha :)

    1. Thank you! I use a canon rebel t2i and all these (except for the last photo with my sisters) were taken with my 50mm f/1.8 lens :)

  23. I REALLY miss Blue Bell ice cream from Texas. It makes me so sad that they only sell it in a few states! They're butter pecan, as I'm sure you know, is to. die. for. xoxo

  24. Great photos! I just discovered they sell blue bell in AZ! Its definitely THE BEST ice-cream. How/what do you do to get your pictures side-by-side with just that tiny sliver of space between them?

    1. their ice cream really is SO good. we asked if they would ever bring it out to california, but it didn't sound too promising... :)

      for the side-by-side photos i just create a new document in photoshop and place them next to each other (with a little white space in between). maybe there's an easier way?

    1. of course i've seen friday night lights! in fact, it's been kind of a while since we finished it on netflix and we still have not found a good replacement, unfortunately. we were pretty obsessed with that show... :)
