hurry up, life.


this is what happens when the restlessness officially sets in...when life seems to be moving slower than ever, when your husband has been out of town for a week, when you've exhausted all your furniture-rearranging options, and when retail therapy just doesn't seem to work like it used to...

you do crazy things like highlight your hair blonde.

and then tell life to hurry. UP!! because i'm not sure i even want to know what other crazy things i am capable of doing at this point. i.e. actually learning how to use my sewing machine, giving up on eyeliner, start eating more mushrooms?? (all of which i am guilty of, as of recently.... crazy, i tell you!)

    But then when life starts moving to fast I want it to slow down!! So fickle I am.

  3. Agreed! Mine is more like, hurry up and tell me what to do with my life! But then of course, there are the days I wish life would slow down, so I could cherish the days a little more...

    And the hair was a good choice! Very pretty and very summer.

  12. I agree! I am always catching myself saying this too. I need life to fast forward just a little bit so I can be comfortable with where I am in my career and just life in general. But mostly so I can end this long distance thing and be back together with my guy :)

    1. haha i know, i've actually always liked mushrooms, but aaron hates them so i don't ever ever buy them.

      ...until last week! i figure he travels enough that i'll just buy them every time he goes out of town. they're yummy little things. :)

  42. Your hair is beautiful - the colour combination is also a real winner! I am willing myself to choose brighter colours when it comes to daily wear, I don't even like black and somehow gravitate towards it when it comes to my wardrobe. No more! Summer and autumn require more of that gorgeous fuschia you are modelling, I think (and which I am told that redheads and blondes do so well to embrace, as it happens, giving us both a reason to enjoy it!)

  48. I know exactly how you feel. I want life to speed up and find myself with an independent, walking 2 year old (he's 18 months now and still only crawling) in my perfectly organized and decorated home. Moving for the second time in a year has really taken a lot out of me. It's all really exciting, though!

    Love your new 'do. Hope you don't go too crazy!
