I wish I had a more exciting reason for why I've been a little MIA lately, but to be honest... "going back to school" and "starting a full-time job" are the only excuses I could come up with. (Those count, right??) I mentioned this on twitter already, but about a month ago I started taking a few (four...) classes at a local college, and last week I also started a new job. Needless to say, I've been a little all over the place lately and feeling a bit scatterbrained. Everyone forgot to remind me how much "time" a "full-time" job really is, apparently........ ;)
Anyways, just dropping in. I know it's only Thursday, but I'm looking forward to the weekend coming up, of course, and wanted to wish you & yours all a good one!
Life does get in between from time to time - as it should be! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongratulation on going back to school! What are you studying? Good luck balancing everything in your life right now.
ReplyDeletei'm taking some design classes. so far so good! :)
Deletei hear ya! those things are a little time consuming, yes? so what is this new full-time job?
ReplyDeleteYeah, those things definitely count! I just started in August as a first-time, full-time teacher at a middle school and I STILL am struggling trying to balance it with everything else going on in my life.
ReplyDeleteHope your new job is going great though, and that you're enjoying your classes!

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty picture. I know how classes and fulltime jobs go together. They eat up all your time but I'm sure it's worth it :)

Deletegood luck with everything you have going on! i'm always supportive of blog breaks here and there, probably because it makes me feel better that i keep taking them ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's always a real treat to see new posts on your blog. Even when they're infrequent.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with school and work! Those can be such an energy suck.
Your blog is beautful!
ReplyDeleteOf course these count! I've been struggling lately too, since college started again + my job and I just can't find the time for my blog, which I miss so much. I mean I still try to keep up now that there's not so much to do at the college yet. But I'd be full time blogging if I could! :-)

Those definitely count! I totally relate, I'm taking a few classes (actually, four also!) to finish my degree that I never got around to completing, and it's my first year full-time running my photography business. It's a lot, some days I feel like I'm running around with my head off. Take some time to yourself! The internet will always be here. :)
ReplyDeleteI've just stumbled on your blog via Pinterest today and I just want to say I absolutely LOVE IT!! Especially your photography. Keep up the juggling act as I now can't wait for new posts.
