January is by far my favorite time of the year here in California. Every January the orange tree behind our apartment bears its beautiful fruit, and the weather is just so. darn. perfect! I'm a northeast Ohio girl, so I think it's safe to say the novelty of these California Januaries won't be wearing off any time soon.
This past weekend was full of things like going to the same Mexican restaurant for the 10th time in a row, trimming our bangs (me) and beards (Aaron), french toast for Sunday morning breakfast, playing card games, and 9pm bedtimes. Us married folks are a real riot! We've actually had a lot going on, with Aaron traveling like a mad man for work and "real life" happening of course, but our simple weekends are my favorite.
Happy Monday! ♥
january has been good so far here in florida as well. the temperatures during the day are nice and warm and the nights are cooler. kind of perfect. you look great in the black and white combination. enjoy the rest of january!

I miss sunny california januaries. Evelyn was born Jan 27th and the day before she was born I was out tanning on the beach! Wha?? Why did we ever move away???!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved Januaries - it feels like a fresh start. Also, the weather is so much nice than in other parts of the country!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the oranges. California is the polar opposite of Newfoundland, Canada right now - as I type, snow is coming down in hoards outside of my window.
ReplyDeletelove that outfit. and i feel the same about januaries. maybe it has to do with my birthday? haha, nah.
